Keith H. Fiman, MD, FACG

Dr. Fiman attended college and medical school at Boston University, graduating with honors in 1986. He was elected to membership in both Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Societies. He then completed his internship, Internal Medicine residency, and three-year Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. After 3 years as a physician in the United States Navy, he moved to the Houston area, where he has been in private practice since 1995. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology, and is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Professional areas of interest include inflammatory bowel disease, endoscopy and colonoscopy, colon cancer screening, gastroesophageal reflux disease, GI problems in adolescents, and nonsurgical treatment of hemorrhoids.

He is a past president of the Texas Gulf Coast Gastroenterological Society, past Medical Director of the Physicians Endoscopy Center (PEC) in Houston, and serves on the Medical Advisory Council of the Texas Gulf Coast Chapter of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA). Dr. Fiman is also the President of Greater Houston Gastroenterology.
